we {heart} bridal market!

  Well, another wonderful, whirlwind, exciting Bridal Market is behind us and we are full of inspiration for you girls! A huge thanks to everyone who followed along on Twitter, Facebook & Instagram. . .so fun seeing your comments and knowing what you are loving. If only you could see it all in person, too!

So what did we see? What were the big impressions left upon our little dress-loving hearts???

First and most definitely : a whole world is opening up that is not strapless. . .don't get us wrong - there are still strapless gowns aplenty! - but the designers seemed to take a very inventive approach to necklines this season and it most certainly did not disappoint.  . .

Amsale went old school with lots of coverage but balanced it with a modern back. . .

Speaking of backs, Monique Lhuillier demonstrates that non-strapless lends itself to beauty at every angle. . .

Y'all loved these beauties from Lela Rose on Instagram . . . the illusion necklines are so feminine!

And full skirts! Though there is always a place for slim, short, and sheath dresses, market would not be complete without the full ball gowns that are without at doubt, undeniably bridal.

Amsale's runway show left us wanting more. . .

Watters so expertly made these gowns both full and full-of-movement. . .

Augusta Jones stayed true to their classic-with-a-twist-of-whimsy style. . .

And Monique went long and short with the fullness. . .{that mini is just to.die.for! we'll take two!}

But you know what? Trends will always come and go. . .every season will be full of beautiful gowns and show-stopping styles. It is one thing to appreciate all this fashion for what it is, and another thing to stay true to yourself. . .See what's new, see what's current, but don't lose yourself as you start shopping for dresses. We promise, you will be most gorgeous if you look just like you . . .cheers!
